Google Business Profile help
Your Business Profile is the listing people see on Google Search and Maps: your name, hours, phone, photos, and reviews. We help local service businesses across the United States set it up correctly, keep it accurate, and stay inside Google's rules.
Start with the free part. Most of a Business Profile only the owner can do, so we wrote it all down. Our Google Business Profile checklist has 42 steps in plain English, checked against Google's own help pages. You may not need us at all.
What we help with
- Claiming a listing, or sorting out one that a past employee or agency still controls
- Getting ready for Google's verification, including the video call
- Your name, address, and service area set the way Google's rules require
- Making the name, address, and phone match your website exactly
- Choosing the right category, and only the ones that fit
- A simple way to ask every customer for a review, with no rewards and no filtering
- Replying to reviews, including the critical ones
How we work on it
- You stay the primary owner. We're added as a manager, and you can remove us any time.
- We never ask for your Google password.
- Nothing public changes without your approval.
- You get a monthly report: what changed, and what's next.
What we can't promise
Google decides whether a profile gets verified, when it shows, and where it ranks. It can also suspend a profile it thinks breaks its rules. Anyone who guarantees you a spot in the map results is guessing. What we can do is make your listing accurate, complete, and inside the rules.
Some businesses don't qualify for a profile at all. Google requires that customers either come to your location or that you travel to them.

Every package starts with the Free Growth Audit. The audit is free. Website builds are not, and we don't do free or trial sites. You get the exact scope in writing before any work starts.

Common questions
I work out of my house. Can I still have a profile?
Yes, if you travel to your customers. Google's rule is to hide your home address and list the areas you serve instead, up to 20, by city or ZIP code.
Can I add my city or my services to my business name?
No. Google's rule is that the name must be the one on your sign, your truck, and your website, with nothing added.
Can I offer a discount for a review?
No. Google prohibits rewards for reviews, and asking only your happy customers. Ask everyone, the same way.
Someone else controls my listing. What now?
Don't create a second one. Google has a "request ownership" process for exactly this, and we can walk you through it.
The rules behind these answers, with links to Google's pages, are on the checklist.
